I Wanna…
be as cool as all my cool friends that Blog.
I’ve been putting off blogging myself because my friends that do it do it very well. So, there’s all kinds of pressure. Gotta be witty, original, have only really cute pictures of me, no spelling or major grammatical errors*, and can’t use my husband’s real name or he’ll freak!
I should start this with a little intro about me, but I think everyone I tell about this already knows everything about me. Well, just in case you forgot here’s me:

I have been married for 13 years.

I hate the number 13, so I’m anxious to be married for 14+ years. (And yes, I hate it because of the superstition surrounding it).

I have 3 kids (The Boy, 10. The Older Girl, 6. The Younger Girl 4.5ish).
-
I don’t mind the number 3 because it’s the square root of 9 and that’s my lucky/favorite number.
-
I turn 40 this year and am freaking out the appropriate amount about it.
-
I hated turning 37 and I think it’s because 37 is an odd number.
-
Probably the two biggest defining moments of my life were getting beaten up by a boyfriend and the death of my mother.
-
I wonder why my first thoughts of defining moments are things that are rather negative in nature.
-
I have a bachelor’s degree in Sociology.
-
I "flunked" out of high school by not passing a required class my senior year.
-
I wanted to be an actress, but I could never remember my lines (which had something to do with failing chemistry, but so did not going to chemistry class).
-
I have no real plans to go back to work any time soon.
-
If/when I do go back to work it will probably have nothing to do with Sociology–not that any job I’ve had did.

I never know how to end. A conversation. A relationship. Now a blog post.
I really wanna be a good blogger. Here goes my try.
*I had to spell check to make sure grammatical was spelled correctly and it wasn’t!
